Building on the success of 2018’s Australia-Africa Women In Leadership Forum on Trade and Investment, AusAfriTrade presents the 2019 Australia-Africa Women In Leadership Forum for Economic Empowerment on 3rd Sept and the subsequent Australia-Africa Trade, Investment and Cultural Expo on Friday 6th to Saturday 7th Sept at Yagan Square, Perth City, to engage Government, business, private sector, individuals, NGOs and civil society in discussions and development of strategies to enhance business, investment and people to people relations between Australia and Africa. Last year the event attracted National and International speakers and delegates from across Australia and overseas.
This Forum is organised with the support of the African Heads of Mission in Australia, and held in collaboration with the Parliament of Western Australia’s Parliamentary Friends of Africa to enhance relations between Australia and Africa and work together to advance gender equality for the mutual benefit of our two continents. Featuring keynote presentations from thought leaders, high-level panel, a facilitated business-Speed networking session and the Forum Function with Parliamentary Friends of Africa at Parliament House, the event holds a reputation for its provision of valuable up-to-date information on trading and investing in Africa.
